ABOUT ROBERT BISHOP
I currently not only teach at my studio but also in schools and colleges. I am the Lead Music Mentor for Essex Music Service, establishing projects for children with learning disabilities. I'm a Music Lecturer for Barnet and Southgate College, for their SEN department, specialising in teaching those with Autism, PMLD and LD, and I'm the Musical Inclusion Specialist for MusicNet East working with vulnerable and challenging children and using music as a way to deliver against some of the wider outcomes of music-making (confidence, self-esteem, resilience, engagement etc) as well as their musical progression.
Drum Tuition with me is based at my studio in Rainham, Essex and my students range in age from 8 upwards and I enjoy teaching them all. Though some of my students go on to attend music colleges like BIMM, ACM and the Royal College of Music, I also love teaching quirky, bright kids who may not make a living as musicians.
